Ideas for new products can be spurred on by our knowledge of material technology. With this course, students of the Department of Industrial Design at the University of Duisburg-Essen acquire important knowledge in the interdisciplinary area of conception, material and production. They hereby gain experience in choosing the appropriate material and communicating with their partners in technical development units.
